Florida Frontiersmen’s Alafia River Rendezvous

The 47th Alafia River Rendezvous

We invite you to step into the past!

In January, each year, the members of the Florida Frontiersmen host the largest living history event in the Southeast.

There will be vendors for food, primitive lifestyles, and souvenirs. Come and see fine demonstrations of historic skills and portrayals of life before 1840. Enjoy a full program of music, featuring both locally and nationally recognized performers. There will also be specialized tradesmen, and general characters from our nation’s history. This annual event for the Florida Frontiersmen provides many scholarships to local high school students as well as intensive learning opportunities during the event.
